Well it was quite the summer!
Friends and Field Hockey family gathered with the troops of athletes to support their new coaches Mark Dekker and Jelle Dekker during summer 2017. The Quebec hockey family grew with culture and expanded with field hockey flavour.
Here are some of the pictures from this summer’s field hockey adventure! Go-Quebec-Go!
Hard work, athletic conditioning and feisty spirits brought the U18 boys to the west coast Nationals. Although the 4th place finish didn’t reflect the level of play that the boys showed, the field hockey family was very proud of their performance during the games. Way to go guys. You played with Quebec-style grit, skill and determination.
The girls grew, developed and discovered and all the things that the West Coast and field hockey had to offer. Many thanks to the Field Hockey Shack for the hospitality and the warm welcome.
Dekker Dudes shared monumental moments at the Canadian Junior Development Camp. Proud moments were had by all as they wore their Canadian colors.
We celebrated during nationals and achieved a very special memory moment: First Quebec Medal at Nationals (U16 Bronze).
And the summer was filled with amazing moments:
Thank you friends old and new and our growing field hockey family for making 2017 an unforgettable summer and year!
